Manager, Adjusting Services Specialty Liability Claims (Primarily Home)

Provide leadership and management direction of a claim adjusting team. Claim adjusting teams investigate and maintain property/casualty claims. Determines liability, secures information, reviews coverages, arranges appraisals, and settles claims. May work in the field or central location. Directs conformity with the terms of each policy and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, established standards, and procedures of the company. You will report to the Adjusting Services Senior Manager. In this primarily home-based role must be proximate to one of our office locations in Phoenix, AZ; Boston, MA; Madison, WI; St. Joseph, MO; Keene, NH; Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN; Atlanta, GA. Position Compensation Range $88,000.00 - $145,000.00 Pay reputed company Type Salary Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. Primary Accountabilities

  • Establish, communicate, and implement departmental plans, objectives, and strategies.
  • Participate as member of the management team.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently at a location removed from immediate supervision.
  • Solid knowledge of property casualty insurance/claim industry and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle reputed company losses in situations that require tact, diplomacy, and persuasion under changing conditions.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of office and field claim handling processes.
  • Demonstrated thorough understanding policy language, coverages and reputed company reputed company.
  • Demonstrated experience in a claim administrator, specialist, examiner, or role with equivalent exhibited knowledge, skills, and performance.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

  • Candidates with reputed company General Liability claims experience involving coverage, injury, and property damage are preferred.
  • Candidates with litigation experience is beneficial.

Licenses

  • Obtain state specific property casualty claims licensing.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 25%.
