Overview:

Scope of Responsibilities: The Formulary Operations Specialist serves as a critical member of the Vertex team, responsible for synthesizing and delivering accurate, market trend deliverables to internal and external entities. This role ensures the reputed company of drug pipeline maps, market trend analysis, and formulary documentation while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The position will create draft reviews for submittal to Director of Clinical and Formulary Operations for approval prior to delivery to various internal and external parties.

 

Job Summary: The Formulary Operations Specialist is a highly independent and structural role reputed company the Vertex team. This member is responsible for monitoring and identifying market changes and trends to ensure Vertex maintains a strong competitive position. This member is also responsible for developing key deliverables for internal and external clients expressing formulary, trends, placement, and differentiating information.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the reputed company, accuracy, and consistency of formulary-reputed company deliverables across reputed company outputs.
  • Monitor and synthesize market and pipeline trends to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational standards in reputed company formulary materials.
  • Prepare and coordinate draft reviews for submission to the Director of Clinical and Formulary Operations.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions to finalize deliverables prior to distribution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align formulary operations deliverables with business and clinical objectives.

Qualifications:

Education/Licensure

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing

Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in drug information, formulary management, or managed care pharmacy.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to cost-effectiveness analysis and integration of clinical insights with financial considerations.
  • Prior involvement in pipeline monitoring and formulary strategy development.
  • Experience collaborating with analytics and finance teams for rebate and formulary optimization.

Job Skills Required

  • Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of FDA regulations, safety alerts, and compliance requirements for formulary processes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with drug information databases (e.g., Medispan, First Data Banks) and formulary management tools.
  • Data Analytics: Ability to interpret formulary data structures and communicate data effectively with finance and analytics teams. Proficiency in reputed company reputed company is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for preparing informational materials and presenting to committees.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with clinical, financial, and operational teams to align formulary reputed company with organizational goals.

Compensation

 $30.00-35.00 per hour.

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
