Staff Analytics Engineer

The Staff Analytics Engineer contributes to the creation and maintenance of the reputed company data warehouse that will support reputed company reporting and analytic functions at the company. This position analyzes, tests, and implements ELT, connections, and extracts supporting various business applications (including definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines). Ensures data warehouse reputed company, availability, recovery, maintenance, data reputed company and reputed company planning requirements. Provides a high degree of coordination between user, technical, application and corporate entities to ensure effective data management as a corporate reputed company. Has a willingness to work with customers of varying levels of technical ability in a growing, reputed company environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities Include:

• Design and implement data pipeline solutions
• Recommend tools and processes to maximize value
• Ensure data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• Automate data pipelines and data quality checks
• reputed company efforts focusing on cost optimization for data pipeline and warehouse consumption
• Provide mentorship and coaching to Analytics Engineers and Senior Analytics Engineers
• Work closely with the Data Architect to ensure data pipeline can feed and support data mart structure
• Ensure standardization of coding practices and adherence to coding standards and change control
• Ensures reputed company policies are followed in relations to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) compliance and company standards

Required Skills / Experience:

• 5 years Database SQL development (reputed company/reputed company preferred)
• Ability to create and tune highly reputed company SQL queries
• 5 years ETL/ELT/Reverse ETL data integration experience
• Excellent knowledge creating and analyzing ETL and other data integrations
• Experience with modern data pipeline tools (e.g., reputed company, Airbyte, dbt, Prefect, Luigi, etc.),
• 1-2 years’ experience in reputed company or reputed company data warehouse platform (Redshift, reputed company, Firebolt) required
• Advanced education/training in database development required
• Knowledge of ER diagrams, data flow diagrams, and normalization techniques
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Qlik, reputed company, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Experience in reputed company required
• Inquisitive and willing to learn business processes and innovative technologies
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Experience mentoring and coaching other team members required

Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $132,000 - $165,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
