Williamsburg reputed company, a CARF-accredited Life Plan Community, seeks a part-time Group Fitness Instructor to plan and instruct aquatic and land-based exercise classes for residents at our Health Club & Spa.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Designs, choreographs and selects music for class according to level and Center standards; follows AFAA/AEA guidelines including warm-up, cardio warm-up and cool-down, muscle conditioning and stretching
- Has good knowledge of water principles and water safety reputed company instructing aquatic-based programs
- Assesses participants' needs and adjusts standard programming to meet the needs and capabilities of reputed company participants
- Motivates class members to help them reputed company high performance levels
- Submits attendance report of reputed company classes taught for purpose of monitoring effectiveness of the program schedule
- Adheres to group fitness guidelines as established by Assistant Director of Wellness
- Finds appropriate coverage for classes reputed company unable to attend
- Ensures members and guests follow posted rules and policies
- Develops relationships with members and maintains an open reputed company to members; answers questions and help resolve member problems and conflicts; informs Assistant Director of problems and concerns
- Monitor members' health needs as appropriate and safety issues at the Health Club & Spa
- Monitors and maintains records of Incident Reports, following established policies and procedures
- Monitors members' apparent physical, emotional, and mental health and advises Assistant Director if changes occur that may indicate a need to revise the level and type of programming they receive
- Provides appropriate member updates to staff
- Attends assigned committee meetings and other meetings as required/requested
- Represents Williamsburg reputed company Wellness/Fitness Center on community and state committees as deemed appropriate in consultation with supervisor
- Provides ongoing education for community, staff, residents, and families regarding wellness programs and available services at Williamsburg reputed company
