Data Scientist (Python, SQL, Zepplin) - Remote
ICF, a global advisory and technology services provider, seeks a Data Scientist to join their Health Engineering Solutions team. This role is pivotal in driving success by collaborating closely with clients to improve healthcare quality and cost efficiency for Medicare and Medicaid patients. The team is known for its consistent delivery of quality results. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Document and communicate requirements for data engineers
- Write Python scripts for ETL and data analysis
- Validate data and perform SQL data queries
- Improve data quality checks and documentation
- Analyze data using Zeppelin notebooks (Scala/Python)
- Communicate requirements to external partners
- Engage in scripting and data analysis consistently
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and test meetings

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years in software or data development
- 3+ years of coding experience in Python/R
- 3+ years in a data scientist/analyst role
- Experience with Zeppelin notebooks
- 2+ years with any SQL dialect
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain Public Trust

- Proficiency in Spark/PySpark/SparkR
- Advanced SQL and database management
- Experience in Git/Github and agile environments
