The focus of this initiative is to design and validate an AI enablement framework for SAP landscapes using Model Context Protocol (MCP) — an emerging open‑source approach to embedding AI capabilities into business and IT processes. This role sits at the intersection of SAP architecture, AI innovation, and enterprise transformation, supporting early-stage exploration, proof of concepts, and future industrialization.
What You Will Do
We are looking for an experienced SAP AI Architect / SAP AI Consultant with hands-on experience in AI within SAP ecosystems. You will support the client in shaping how AI can be integrated into SAP landscapes, providing architectural guidance and helping validate concepts through hands-on POC work.
Key Responsibilities
AI & MCP Framework Design Define architecture for enabling AI in SAP landscapes using MCP Contribute to the design of target frameworks and best practices Provide guidance on security, authentication, and responsible AI MCP Server Architecture Design and support MCP server setup across domains: Business support (users, insights, operations) SAP functional consulting SAP development (ABAP, integrations, APIs) SAP Landscape Enablement Support AI integration across: SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA (on-premise) SAP SaaS platforms (SuccessFactors, Ariba, Fieldglass, etc.) Define access patterns and integration approaches for AI use cases AI Agents & Tooling Work with AI agents (including Microsoft Copilot) Explore additional AI tools and orchestration approaches Define how agents interact with MCP servers Proof of Concept Design and execute technical and functional POCs Evaluate feasibility and business impact Document findings and propose next steps You might be the perfect match if you… Have strong experience with SAP landscapes (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP SaaS) Have hands-on experience with AI integration, AI agents, or copilots Have exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar concepts Have experience with SAP BTP, APIs, or OData services Have strong architectural thinking and advisory experience Can communicate effectively across business and technical teams Nice to have Experience with Microsoft Copilot or Azure AI ecosystem Experience with AI initiatives in ERP environments Assignment Details Start: ASAP Workload: full-time Contract type: B2B Recruitment process Screening Call 30‑minute introduction with our recruiter Technical Interview Technical discussion focused on SAP and AI architecture Final Interview Interview with the client Apply now Submit your application in one easy step — we look forward to hearing from you! 🚀 Apply To This Job
