Typical Day in the Role
- Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is for Xbox personalization and AI
- Key projects: This role will contribute to developing innovative data-driven solutions, utilizing machine learning and AI, to tailor and enhance the gaming experience for players.
- Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of team meeting discussing about project planning and goals, hands on project, such as coding, building model, etc., and reviewing and implementing changes for improvement.

Candidate Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: at least 5 overall years of experience in the field.
- Degrees or certifications required: minimum of Master's degree and preferably PH.D degree is required to be eligible for this role.
- Disqualifiers: Candidates with without degree, no relevant industry in IT or gaming industry will not be eligible for the role.
- Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experiences in gaming industry.
- Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on project deliverables.

Summary: The main function of a Data Scientist is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. Job Responsibilities:
- Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions
- Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes
- Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes
- Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
- 8-10 years applicable experience required
- Experience with database technologies
- Knowledge of the ETL process
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated history of success
- Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions
