Legal Advisor - Facilities Management
G4S is a global security company that has been acquired by Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider. They are seeking a Legal Advisor to support their UK Facilities Management business by providing practical legal advice and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and proposals in line with G4S Standards
- Advising the business on commercial and legal risks and helping to manage and mitigate them
- Supporting the business in meeting its contractual obligations
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, summaries and documentation
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver effective solutions
Skills
- Either strong paralegal experience or up to 2 years' PQE as a solicitor (UK or Ireland)
- A solid understanding of contract and commercial law (in England or Scotland)
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Some knowledge of construction law / or Private Finance Initiative (PFI) structures and contracts
