Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated individual to join us as an Information Investigator II (Remote Data Analyst). This entry‑level, full‑time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $35 and the flexibility to work remotely from Seattle, WA, or any location that supports our collaborative virtual environment. You will work with cross‑functional partners—including Global Program Operations, Portfolio Management, Finance, and Design Services—to translate raw data into actionable insights that drive both short‑term operational efficiency and long‑term strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Acquisition & Integration: Build a deep understanding of cost and resource data across internal teams and external partners, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Process Optimization: Support the coordination of high‑velocity projects that standardize and improve financial cycles across the organization, identifying bottlenecks and recommending automation opportunities.
  • Business Process Support: Assist with core business processes such as expense tracking, workforce planning, and asset allocation, providing analytical support to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Work with multiple data platforms to deliver tailored analyses and reports that address business needs, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
  • Documentation & Governance: Archive processes related to key cycles, data collection, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with major decisions and change management protocols.
  • Collaboration with Data Engineers: Partner with Data Architects and System Engineers to document and implement data models, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Automation & Scripting: Design and develop dynamic workflows and scripts that automate repetitive tasks, increasing efficiency across the data pipeline.
  • Insight Communication: Synthesize complex data sets into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership, translating technical findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Ad‑hoc Support: Provide timely assistance to Planning and Delivery teams for urgent requests from internal stakeholders, maintaining agility in a fast‑paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related technical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Proficiency with data manipulation and analysis tools, including R, SQL, and Python.
  • Experience building dashboards using platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Airtable, or Smartsheet.
  • Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling concepts.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical reasoning abilities, with a solid foundation in mathematics.
  • Demonstrated self‑starter attitude, high integrity, and strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
