arenaflex is currently seeking a dedicated, multilingual Customer Service Associate to join our Delivery Station team in Rozenburg, Noordholland, Netherlands. This is a 12-month fixed term contract with a strong possibility of extension, offering 40 hours per week of full-time engagement. About the Role: What You'll Do Every Day at arenaflex

As a Delivery Station Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be the critical link between our customers and the successful delivery of their orders. Your day will be a mix of investigative problem-solving, direct customer communication, and seamless coordination with our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). Core Responsibilities

  • Real-Time Order Investigations: Conduct hands-on, time-sensitive investigations to track down where customer orders are located within the delivery network. Use internal tools, systems, and your own analytical skills to trace packages efficiently and accurately.
  • Direct Customer Outreach: Contact customers via phone and email to confirm critical delivery details, verify addresses, and prevent avoidable delays. Your communication will be clear, empathetic, and solution-oriented.
  • Partner Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between arenaflex customers and our Delivery Service Partners. Identify root causes of issues, escalate concerns, and work collaboratively to arrange re-deliveries when required.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle customer concerns with empathy, professionalism, and a relentless focus on finding the best possible outcome. Every challenge is an opportunity to turn a potentially negative experience into a positive one.
  • Data Accuracy: Document every customer interaction, case outcome, and resolution step with precision in our internal systems. Your attention to detail ensures that lessons learned are captured and the team continuously improves.

Work Schedule and Hours

We understand that customers need support at various times, which is why this role requires flexibility in scheduling. You will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically structured as five 8-hour shifts. Operating hours run from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Sunday. To meet customer demand, we rotate shift patterns, and your schedule may change every four weeks. You will receive your work schedule at least six weeks in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan your personal life around your shifts. You may also be required to work national holidays, for which appropriate compensation will be provided. Specific shift details will be shared closer to your start date.

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Work Authorization: You must have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
  • Language Fluency — Dutch and German: You must possess strong communication skills in both Dutch and German, with a minimum proficiency of C1 level in written and oral expression. These are essential for handling customer inquiries from our primary markets.
  • Language Fluency — English: You must demonstrate good communication skills in English, both written and oral, as English is our internal working language at arenaflex.
  • Computer Literacy: You should be comfortable using computers, navigating multiple systems simultaneously, and learning new software tools quickly.
  • Schedule Flexibility: You must be available to work varying shifts between Monday and Sunday, within the operating window of 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
  • Rotating Shift Willingness: You should be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as required by business needs.
