With a portfolio that spans theme parks, resorts, and digital platforms, arenaflex delivers magical moments to millions of guests each year. Our Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics division is the engine that turns raw data into actionable stories, helping the company make smarter decisions, enhance guest experiences, and drive sustainable growth. As a remote‑first organization, arenaflex empowers talent worldwide to collaborate, innovate, and thrive from wherever they call home.

Why This Role Matters

In the fast‑moving world of guest services and contact‑center operations, data is the lifeblood that fuels every strategic move. As a Remote Part‑Time Data Analyst you will be at the heart of this ecosystem, providing the analytical rigor and storytelling expertise that enable senior leaders, operational teams, and business partners to anticipate demand, optimize resources, and continuously improve the guest journey.

Role Overview

This position sits within the Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team. You will work closely with cross‑functional partners—including contact‑center managers, product owners, and technology engineers—to deliver forecasting models, performance dashboards, and deep‑dive analyses that directly influence operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. The role is part‑time, fully remote, and ideal for self‑motivated analysts who love turning numbers into narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Analytics & Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain robust forecasting models to predict contact‑center volume, staffing needs, and service‑level performance.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc analyses that uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Design compelling visualizations (dashboards, charts, and storyboards) that translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and partner teams, tailoring the narrative to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of analytical reports, from data extraction and validation to documentation and continuous optimization.
  • Manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining high data quality standards.

Measurement & Analytics Operations

  • Leverage a variety of reporting tools and data platforms—including Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, and Excel—to perform exploratory and confirmatory analyses.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing rigorous validation checks and audit procedures.
  • Collaborate with business partners to translate high‑level business questions into quantitative analyses, delivering reproducible results and clear documentation.
  • Apply modern statistical and machine‑learning techniques to test hypotheses, predict outcomes, and surface actionable insights.
  • Stay current with emerging data‑technology trends, best practices, and industry standards, sharing knowledge with the broader analytics community at arenaflex.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of professional experience in quantitative analytics, forecasting, or a related field (internship experience does not count).
  • Hands‑on experience with time‑series forecasting methods and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python (including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, and matplotlib).
  • Strong curiosity to uncover the “why” behind performance trends, decisions, and operational outcomes.
  • Exceptional analytical mindset with the ability to translate raw data into clear, concise stories.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of statistical inference, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
  • Experience with data‑visualization best practices and tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced SQL skills for complex data extraction and manipulation.
  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline, or 4+ years of proven analytics experience.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
