Position Overview

We are currently seeking motivated, customer-focused, and bilingual professionals to join arenaflex as Remote Customer Experience Specialists supporting our travel operations from a home-based environment. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive hourly wage of $25/hour, predictable eight-hour shifts, and the chance to build a rewarding career with one of the most recognized names in global travel.

As a Remote Customer Experience Specialist, you will play an essential role in shaping how customers perceive and remember their journey with arenaflex. Whether assisting travelers with reservations, resolving complex travel issues, or providing thoughtful guidance during unexpected disruptions, your contributions will directly influence customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and the reputation of arenaflex as a world-class service organization.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Customer Engagement: Answering and routing incoming calls, warmly greeting customers, and providing expert advice on travel-related inquiries. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance, information, and solutions.
  • Ticketing and Reservations: Preparing tickets, determining applicable fares, and selecting appropriate routings to ensure that travelers’ itineraries are efficiently and accurately booked. You will use your knowledge of fare structures, travel regulations, and destination options to create seamless travel experiences.
  • Baggage Handling Support: Assisting customers with tagging, handling, and tracking their luggage to ensure belongings reach the correct destinations safely and on time.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolving customer travel issues with professionalism, empathy, and confidence. You will be expected to think critically, act decisively, and follow through on commitments when situations require additional attention.
  • Customer Anticipation: Proactively identifying customer needs before they arise and going above and beyond to exceed expectations. This includes recognizing moments of frustration and responding with grace, ownership, and a solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, including airport operations, gate teams, and behind-the-scenes coordinators, to ensure smooth and consistent service delivery.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintaining a strong safety mindset in every interaction and operation, holding yourself and your colleagues accountable to the highest standards of conduct and care.
  • Brand Representation: Embodying the values, professionalism, and friendliness of arenaflex in every customer interaction, ensuring that each traveler feels welcomed, valued, and respected.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for the Remote Customer Experience Specialist position at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently in each language.
  • Technical Comfort: Comfortable working with computers, smartphones, and a variety of digital tools and platforms. Prior experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
  • Physical Readiness: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an entire shift, as well as lift and handle baggage or equipment as needed.
  • Travel Availability: Willingness and ability to travel internationally for training purposes when required.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work any shift assigned within a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operation. This includes late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. Please note that relocation assistance and employment visa sponsorship will not be provided.
  • Appearance Standards: Ability to meet arenaflex uniform and appearance guidelines.
  • Documentation: Possession of a valid passport and U.S. visa.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will help you stand out as a candidate:

  • Prior experience working in the airline, travel, or hospitality industry.
  • A four-year college degree, particularly in communications, hospitality management, business, or a related field.
  • Multilingual abilities beyond English and Portuguese, such as Spanish, French, or Mandarin.
  • Experience handling escalated customer concerns or working in high-volume call environments.
  • Familiarity with airline reservation systems, fare calculation tools, and international travel regulations.
