  • Build Mission-Critical Data Engineering Solutions: You'll play a vital role in enabling data engineering solutions that power business intelligence and analytics across arenaflex. Your work will directly influence how the organization understands its customers, optimizes its operations, and plans for the future.
  • Join a Culture of Continuous Improvement: At arenaflex, learning never stops. You'll work alongside talented engineers, data scientists, and product owners who are constantly raising the bar and sharing knowledge across teams.
  • Be Part of a High-Impact Team: This role is embedded within the Revenue and Planning Technology team inside our Technology organization. You'll bring your data engineering expertise, collaborative mindset, and analytical skills to help cultivate a truly data-driven culture by designing and delivering analytics solutions that make data analysis easier, faster, and more effective for stakeholders throughout arenaflex.
  • Work with Cutting-Edge Cloud Technologies: From Azure Data Factory to Databricks, you'll have the opportunity to work with the most modern cloud-native data platforms available today.

Key Responsibilities: What You'll Do as a Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines and analytics platforms. Your responsibilities will span the full development lifecycle and include collaboration with cross-functional teams across the organization. The list below reflects the core duties of this position, though management may assign additional related tasks as needed to support evolving business needs.

  • Partner with Source Data Application Teams and Product Owners: Work closely with internal stakeholders to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that deliver actionable insights and enable smarter, data-informed decision-making across the business.
  • Implement Data Migration and Engineering Solutions: Build robust data migration and data engineering solutions using Azure products and services, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Databricks, and other modern cloud-native tools, as well as traditional data warehouse technologies.
  • Own the Full Development Lifecycle: Engage in every aspect of the development process — from solution design and cloud engineering (covering infrastructure, networking, security, and governance) to data ingestion, preparation, modeling, testing, CI/CD pipeline automation, performance tuning, deployment, consumption, business intelligence, alerting, and ongoing production support.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the broader data engineering community within arenaflex.
  • Embrace DevOps Culture: Be an active member of a DevOps team that fully owns and supports its products end-to-end, taking pride in reliability, observability, and continuous delivery.
  • Build Batch and Streaming Data Pipelines: Design and implement both batch and streaming data pipelines using modern cloud technologies to support real-time and near-real-time analytics use cases.
  • Drive Engineering Excellence: Champion the development of coding standards, best practices, and security and privacy guidelines. Help shape a culture of quality, scalability, and maintainability across the engineering organization.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide guidance and coaching to team members on both technical skills and domain knowledge, helping to build multi-functional, high-performing teams.
