Experienced Full Time Airport Customer Service Agent – Allegiant Airline Operations, Passenger Experience & Ramp Support at arenaflex – SNA Terminal

Remote · USA Full-time New today

About arenaflex and the Opportunity Ahead

The aviation industry is experiencing one of the most exciting and rapid growth periods in its history, and arenaflex is at the heart of that momentum. As a trusted partner to major commercial airlines across the United States, arenaflex delivers world class ground handling, passenger care, and operational support at some of the busiest airports in the country. With the significant increase in airline passenger travel volume continuing into the coming years, arenaflex is expanding its team at John Wayne Airport (SNA) and is looking to hire motivated, dependable, and service driven individuals to join our growing family.

When you join arenaflex as an Airport Customer Service Agent working in partnership with Allegiant Air, you become a frontline ambassador of both the airline and our company. You will be the welcoming face, the helpful voice, and the steady hand that ensures every passenger journey begins and ends with confidence, comfort, and care. Whether you are assisting travelers at the check in counter, guiding them through the boarding process, managing baggage logistics, or providing essential ramp support on the airfield, your contribution will directly shape the passenger experience and the operational success of every flight.

This is not just a job. It is a launching pad into a long term career in aviation, customer service, logistics, and airport operations. No prior experience is required because arenaflex invests in paid training, ongoing development, and the tools you need to succeed from day one.

Key Responsibilities of the Airport Customer Service Agent

As an Airport Customer Service Agent supporting Allegiant Air operations at SNA, you will take on a dynamic blend of customer facing and operational duties. Each day brings new challenges, new travelers, and new opportunities to make a positive impact. Your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Passenger Check In and Ticketing Support: Greet passengers warmly at the ticketing counter and gate, verify identification, confirm travel documents, issue boarding passes, assign seats, and process baggage check in with accuracy and efficiency. Answer questions about flight schedules, gate changes, baggage policies, and Allegiant Air services.
  • Boarding and Deplaning Operations: Coordinate and execute smooth boarding and deplaning procedures, including pre boarding announcements, priority group calls, cabin validation, and the safe and timely movement of passengers through the jet bridge. Provide assistance to passengers with special needs, mobility challenges, unaccompanied minors, and families traveling with small children.
  • Baggage Handling and Claim Assistance: Oversee the tagging, routing, and tracking of checked baggage. At the destination side, assist passengers with baggage claim inquiries, lost or delayed luggage reports, and the coordination of baggage delivery when required.
  • Ramp and Ground Support Duties: Work on the airfield ramp to support aircraft arrival and departure operations. This includes loading and unloading luggage and cargo, operating ground support equipment, guiding aircraft into and out of gates, and ensuring that the ramp environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
  • Safety, Security, and Compliance: Strictly follow Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations, airport authority rules, and arenaflex safety protocols at all times. Complete SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security clearance. Remain vigilant in identifying and reporting any security concerns or unusual activity in the terminal or on the ramp.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Handle customer concerns, complaints, and special requests in a calm, empathetic, and professional manner. Escalate issues to supervisors or airline representatives when appropriate and follow through to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Communication and Coordination: Maintain clear, accurate, and timely communication with flight crews, airline station managers, fellow ground crew members, TSA personnel, and airport authority staff to keep operations running smoothly and on schedule.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete daily operational logs, incident reports, and any required paperwork related to irregular operations, delayed flights, damaged baggage, or safety events.

Essential Qualifications and Pre Employment Requirements

arenaflex believes that great customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic matter more than a lengthy resume. That is why this position is open to candidates from all backgrounds, including those entering the workforce for the first time. However, there are several essential qualifications and pre employment requirements that every candidate must meet:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Work Authorization: Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. Valid identification and supporting documentation will be required.
  • Drug Screening: Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen. Aviation is a safety sensitive industry, and a clean screen is required before starting work.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check that may look back up to ten years. Certain criminal histories may disqualify a candidate based on airport and federal aviation regulations.
  • SIDA Training: Must complete Secured Identification Display Area (SIDA) training to obtain airport authority identification security clearance, which is required to access secure areas of the airfield and terminal.
  • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
  • Availability: Must have flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including 8 hour and 10 hour shifts, day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Aviation does not stop, and our team must be ready whenever flights are scheduled.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to following procedures exactly as written.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced, physically active, and sometimes weather exposed environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn airline reservation and check in systems.
  • A genuine passion for helping people and creating positive travel experiences.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

This position involves a combination of indoor terminal work and outdoor ramp work in a variety of weather conditions. Candidates must be able to meet the following physical demands on a regular and recurring basis:
