Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Greet patients warmly, answer product and service inquiries, and resolve concerns to ensure a delightful customer experience.
  • Support the Pharmacist: Work under direct supervision to assist with pharmacy operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Cash Handling & Transaction Management: Register all sales on the assigned cash register, manage cash and coin, and assist customers in locating over‑the‑counter (OTC) items.
  • Phone Triage: Answer non‑clinical calls, route prescription‑related calls to the pharmacist, and communicate effectively with physicians and other health‑care providers.
  • Claims & Billing: Correct and resubmit insurance claims for prescription benefits, ensuring timely reimbursement and accurate documentation.
  • Inventory & Stock Control: Participate in ordering, receiving, checking, and storing prescription drugs; document discrepancies such as overages, shortages, or damaged items.
  • Clinical Support: Assist with collection and labeling of blood/urine samples, coordinate with arenaflex health clinics, and support external vendors as needed.

Essential Qualifications
