Role Overview

The Remote Part‑Time Data Entry Specialist will provide essential engineering support to the fleet engineering team. You will be responsible for accurately capturing, validating, and maintaining data related to aircraft systems, component performance, and maintenance actions. Your work will enable engineers to make data‑driven decisions, improve reliability, and reduce downtime across the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Acquisition & Entry: Collect and input data from maintenance logs, technical bulletins, and field reports into designated engineering databases.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous checks to ensure data integrity, completeness, and compliance with arenaflex standards.
  • Issue Tracking: Document and monitor aircraft or component problems that could lead to delays, cancellations, or increased maintenance costs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and other arenaflex departments to gather required information and provide timely technical assistance.
  • Action Plan Development: Assist in drafting action plans for fleet‑wide or component‑specific engineering projects, ensuring that priorities align with arenaflex objectives.
  • Documentation: Prepare and update engineering documents, such as repair procedures, modification instructions, and inspection checklists, to reflect the latest technical dispositions.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on data trends, reliability metrics, and project progress for senior engineering leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes, propose automation solutions, and contribute to best‑practice guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in aviation, engineering, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in data entry, data management, or a similar administrative role.
