As a global technology leader headquartered in Texas and operating across the United States and beyond, arenaflex is redefining what it means to extract meaning and value from petabyte-scale datasets. Our mission is bold: to forge entirely new methodologies for scientific data processing, develop cutting-edge statistical techniques, and build intelligent models that empower organizations to make smarter, faster, and more confident decisions.

We don't work in isolation. arenaflex collaborates with world-renowned academic institutions, industry pioneers, and exceptionally talented engineers to prepare our clients for the most complex challenges in the era of big data. Whether it's uncovering hidden patterns in massive datasets, predicting market shifts before they happen, or building AI systems that transform how businesses operate, our data science team sits at the absolute center of innovation. If you are passionate about turning raw data into revolutionary insights, arenaflex is the place where your expertise will be challenged, valued, and amplified.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our rapidly expanding artificial intelligence and machine learning division. This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity offering the chance to work on highly visible, business-critical problems alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry. As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will bring your deep industry expertise to architect, build, and deploy machine learning models that directly influence marketing strategies, sales optimization, and customer engagement at scale.

This role is ideal for a data science professional who thrives at the intersection of advanced analytics, machine learning engineering, and strategic business consultation. You will collaborate closely with our Field Marketing and Sales teams, translating complex business challenges into data-driven solutions that deliver measurable, lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Machine Learning Lifecycle Ownership: Partner with fellow Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Architects, and Business Analysts to manage the complete ML lifecycle—from initial use-case identification and problem framing through model development, productionization, deployment, and post-launch performance monitoring.
  • AI-Driven Marketing Transformation: Play a critical, hands-on role in building and scaling arenaflex's next-generation marketing capabilities, with machine learning positioned firmly at the core of every initiative.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Solution Design: Work directly with business partners across marketing, sales, and product teams to deeply understand their goals, challenges, and KPIs, then co-design customer-centric AI solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Model Development & Productionization: Design, train, validate, and deploy robust machine learning models using industry-leading frameworks and tools. Ensure every model meets rigorous standards for performance, fairness, interpretability, and scalability.
  • Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of the latest developments in AI, deep learning, natural language processing, and statistical modeling. Proactively identify opportunities to apply emerging techniques to arenaflex's most pressing business questions.
  • Mentorship & Thought Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and excellence across the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate complex analytical concepts and model outputs to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Demonstrated, hands-on industry experience in machine learning, data science, statistics, or a closely related field, with a verifiable portfolio of productionized models that have moved from concept to real-world deployment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency across the full model lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, validation, deployment, performance monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
  • Statistical Programming Mastery: Deep, practical experience with Python and its core data science ecosystem, including packages such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to quickly acquire deep domain knowledge, understand complex business processes, and align analytical work with strategic business objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated technical concepts into clear business narratives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline—or equivalent professional experience demonstrating comparable expertise.
  • MLOps & Model Management: Hands-on experience with model lifecycle management tools such as MLflow, and version control platforms like GitLab.
  • Cloud & Big Data Experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed computing frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop.
  • Advanced Modeling: Experience with deep learning architectures, natural language processing, recommendation systems, or time-series forecasting is a strong plus.
