Key Responsibilities

As a Revenue Management Analyst at arenaflex, your work will directly influence the financial performance of the airline. Your responsibilities will evolve as you progress through the professional levels:

Entry-Level (Professional 1) Duties

  • Develop proficiency in arenaflex's Revenue Management Systems, including demand forecasting models, price elasticity analysis, and marginal revenue transformation tools.
  • Contribute input to the design and implementation of inventory allocation strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Learn to monitor and interpret market conditions, capacity shifts, competitor activity, schedule changes, and fare adjustments.
  • Support senior analysts in building reports and dashboards that translate raw data into actionable business insights.
  • Build foundational expertise in sales optimization techniques and inventory control principles.

Intermediate-Level (Professional 2) Duties

  • Apply strong knowledge of revenue management principles to analyze evolving market conditions and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Adjust overbooking levels and historical no-show forecasts to maximize seat utilization and revenue capture.
  • Extract and interpret relevant business statistics from dashboards, databases, and Revenue Management Systems to execute revenue-optimizing strategies.
  • Communicate strategy outcomes, performance metrics, and analytical findings to senior management in clear, concise formats.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and network planning teams to align revenue strategies with broader business objectives.

Senior-Level (Professional 3) Duties

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in interpreting shifts in market conditions and translating ambiguity into strategic action.
  • Own accountability for meeting and exceeding unit revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and champion system improvements that elevate the analytical capability of the entire revenue management function.
  • Exercise significant judgment on inventory strategy decisions and articulate rationale across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

arenaflex is hiring across three professional levels. The qualifications below are required for all candidates, with experience expectations scaling by level.

Core Requirements (All Levels)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, industrial engineering, or a closely related discipline. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Age Requirement: Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Education Baseline: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements by Level

  • Entry Level: Open to recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of analytics experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Intermediate Level: 2 years of analytical experience in revenue management or a related field, plus a bachelor's degree (or 4 years of equivalent experience).
  • Senior Level: 4 years of analytics experience in revenue management or a related field, plus a bachelor's degree (or 6 years of equivalent experience).
