About the Role: Remote Data Entry Specialist

This is a full-time, fully-remote position open to candidates based in or around the San Diego, California metropolitan area, though you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home office. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Your core responsibility will involve posting, editing, and managing job advertisements across a wide range of online job boards and platforms. You will serve as the final quality checkpoint for hundreds of listings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to platform-specific guidelines. Key Responsibilities

  • High-Volume Job Ad Management: Post, edit, and maintain a substantial daily volume of job advertisements across multiple online job boards, career portals, and recruitment platforms with speed and precision.
  • Quality Assurance & Accuracy Checks: Conduct thorough quality reviews of all job postings to verify completion, grammatical accuracy, formatting consistency, and compliance with both client requirements and platform standards.
  • Platform Issue Resolution: Communicate proactively with job board support teams and partners to troubleshoot posting errors, resolve technical issues, and ensure advertisements go live without delays.
  • Database & Records Management: Maintain organized, up-to-date records of all posted advertisements, tracking key metrics such as posting status, errors, revisions, and resolution timelines.
  • Task Prioritization & Workflow Management: Independently manage your daily task queue, prioritizing assignments to meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Research & Problem-Solving: Investigate posting discrepancies, identify root causes of recurring issues, and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors over time.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including account managers, sales staff, and technical support to ensure seamless campaign execution and exceptional client satisfaction.

What We Look For: Qualifications & Experience

Essential Qualifications

  • Data Entry Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional data entry experience, with a strong preference for candidates with 3 or more years in high-volume data or content management roles.
  • Typing Proficiency: A typing speed of at least 60 words per minute (WPM), with 80+ WPM strongly preferred. Speed without sacrificing accuracy is essential.
  • Reliable Home Office Setup: Access to high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace suitable for full-time remote work.
