Role Description This is a part-time contract role for a PERM Immigration Paralegal with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The paralegal will assist with legal document preparation, manage PERM-related tasks, and collaborate with attorneys on visa and immigration-related cases. This is a remote role, allowing flexibility to perform job responsibilities in a virtual environment. Job Duties
- Prepare and file Prevailing Wage Requests (ETA Form 9141), ETA Form 9089 applications, and supporting documentation.
- Review employer job descriptions and minimum requirements for PERM compliance and assist with drafting compliant job requirements.
- Coordinate all stages of PERM recruitment, including placement of advertisements, job orders, internal notices, and additional recruitment steps for professional positions.
- Track recruitment timelines and ensure compliance with Department of Labor regulatory requirements.
- Prepare recruitment reports and maintain complete audit files.
- Draft experience verification letters, employer questionnaires, and supporting documentation for PERM filings.
- Prepare immigrant visa petitions, including Forms I-140, and supporting evidence packages.
- Prepare adjustment of status applications (Forms I-485, I-765, and I-131) and consular processing documentation related to employment-based cases.
- Maintain accurate case records and document management systems.
- Monitor government processing times, case status updates, and filing deadlines.
- Conduct legal and procedural research.
- Identify potential compliance concerns and bring issues to the attention of supervising attorneys.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of recent, hands-on PERM labor certification experience in a high-volume employment-based immigration practice
- Strong knowledge of DOL and USCIS processes
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Remote-ready with reliable availability
