Role Overview – Why This Position Matters

The Compliance Analytics Manager – Entry Level is a pivotal role within arenaflex’s Compliance & Risk Management team. You will be the guardian of data integrity, ensuring that every transaction, pharmacy operation, and front‑end activity adheres to internal policies and external regulations. This role blends data‑entry precision with sophisticated analytics, giving you exposure to business intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, and Power BI. You will work closely with senior compliance leaders, risk analysts, and cross‑functional partners to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments for assigned business processes, documenting findings and recommending remediation actions.
  • Monitoring Plan Development: Lead the design and implementation of risk‑based compliance monitoring programs, ensuring they align with regulatory expectations and arenaflex’s internal standards.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract, cleanse, and analyze large data sets using SQL and analytical tools to uncover trends, anomalies, and potential compliance gaps.
  • Audit Execution: Perform routine compliance audits, record observations, and prepare detailed audit reports for senior leadership.
  • Remediation Coordination: Draft corrective action plans (CAPs) and work with business owners to implement and track remediation activities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences, including senior executives and operational teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance monitoring processes, data collection methods, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: Serve as an “Open Door” manager for junior analysts, providing guidance on data‑driven investigations and fostering a culture of compliance excellence.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance monitoring, internal audit, or data‑analysis roles (or equivalent experience with a high‑school diploma/GED and 5 years of relevant work).
  • Proficiency in SQL query writing and data manipulation for large‑scale data sets.
  • Hands‑on experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate raw data into meaningful compliance insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting findings to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • 5 + years of experience in compliance monitoring or audit functions, preferably within retail pharmacy or health‑care sectors.
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential data, with a solid understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts such as regression, clustering, and predictive modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of data‑mining techniques, data profiling, and data‑warehouse management.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering compliance training or presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Leadership experience, including managing cross‑functional teams or leading process‑improvement initiatives.
  • Certification in compliance, risk management, or data analytics (e.g., CISA, CRMA, CAP, or similar) is a plus.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to dissect complex data sets, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data entry and audit documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Problem‑Solving: Creative thinking to develop innovative solutions for compliance challenges.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who can build relationships across business units, IT, legal, and operations.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive communication style for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ethical Judgment: Unwavering commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory adherence.
  • Technology Savvy: Comfort with modern analytics tools, data‑visualization software, and emerging AI/ML applications in compliance.
