Sometimes a customer doesn't call to make a booking, but because something needs to be resolved right away. And that's where you come in. We are looking for an Online Travel Agent for the Emergency Service: a customer-focused problem solver who is available outside of Dutch office hours to assist travelers with urgent questions or in special situations and is fluent in Dutch. What does the emergency service entail? As an Online Travel Agent Emergency Service, you are the point of contact for customers who experience unexpected problems during their trip, for example, delays, emergencies, or uncertainties in their booking. You ensure that they are quickly reassured and that the right steps are taken. You will work from home using a laptop provided by AJD Holiday Services Inc., which will give you access to all the necessary systems. Naturally, you will receive thorough training and clear manuals and protocols. What are you going to do?
- Responding to customers by phone (via laptop) and email/chat in urgent situations;
- Listening, reassuring, and offering practical solutions;
- Recording reports and forwarding them to the appropriate department for follow-up;
- Checking that problems have been properly resolved the next day;
Consulting colleagues when necessary (within a reasonable time frame). How do you work? We provide you with:

- Clear instructions and training so that you know exactly what to do.
You are:
- Customer-focused, a strong communicator, and solution-oriented;
- Stress-resistant—you stay calm when things get exciting;
- Reliable and responsible, customers can count on you;
- Experienced in the travel industry or customer service (preferred);
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends;
- Good at working independently with digital systems.
- Speak Dutch Fluently
