We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex data privacy, cybersecurity, and class action defense matters. This role reports directly to attorneys and offers full remote flexibility across any time zone. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation support experience, the ability to manage large datasets and ESI, and thrives in a fast-paced, confidential environment. Responsibilities: Support attorneys in all stages of data privacy class action defense litigation from initial case assessment through resolution, trial, or appeal. Maintain and organize case files, pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, and internal work product in document management systems. Coordinate and manage discovery, including collection, review, tracking, and production of electronically stored information (ESI), document requests, interrogatories, and responses. Assist with preservation notices, legal holds, custodian tracking, and document retention workflows. Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, declarations, exhibits, privilege logs, and deposition materials, under attorney supervision. Conduct factual and legal research related to privacy laws, regulatory issues, court rules, and case-specific matters. Manage deposition, hearing, mediation, and trial preparation, including exhibit organization, witness files, binders, and logistics. Track court deadlines, briefing schedules, and case milestones to help ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural requirements. Coordinate with clients, experts, e-discovery vendors, court personnel, and opposing counsel on administrative and case-related matters. Assist with e-filing in federal and state courts and ensure filings comply with applicable rules and formatting requirements. Analyze and summarize large volumes of records, including technical, business, and data-related documents. Handle highly sensitive personal, business, and litigation information with discretion and strict confidentiality. Skills & Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; paralegal certificate from an accredited program strongly preferred. 3+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, ideally with class action or complex defense matters. Experience supporting discovery and e-discovery workflows, including document collections, review platforms, productions, and privileged log preparation. Familiarity with federal and state court filing procedures, litigation deadlines, and case management practices. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document or case management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision. Sound judgment and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Adaptability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting matters involving privacy statutes or regulations such as CCPA/CPRA, state biometric privacy laws, wiretapping or tracking-related claims, or other consumer data privacy issues. Familiarity with data breach response, incident-related litigation, online tracking technologies, advertising technology, or website/mobile privacy issues. Exposure to large-scale class action discovery, expert coordination, and technical or data-driven factual records. Knowledge of e-discovery tools and litigation databases such as Relativity or similar platforms. Trial preparation experience in complex civil litigation matters.
