FinOps Systems Analyst Associate
Louisiana Economic Development is a global technology and professional services company that delivers consulting, technology and mission services to every major agency across the U.S. government, defense and intelligence community. They are seeking a FinOps Systems Analyst Associate to optimize cloud services, support financial management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide FinOps support to cloud service consumers
- Participate in operating and improving key business and technical service delivery processes
- Support cloud procurement and billing activities, including assisting customers with inquiries
- Coordinate tasks and workflows with business partners involved in service offerings
- Produce routine reports detailing cloud expenditures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer database records
- Create Purchase Requests (PRs) and track Purchase Order (PO) status
- Regularly report on billing and procurement activities
Skills
- Technical Training and/or Certification(s) with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, or other relevant field
- 0+ years of experience required
- Proficient with common office applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
- Working knowledge of IT service management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or BMC Remedy
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Able to lead discussions with distributed teams, including technical, finance, executive, business partners, and customer stakeholders
- Possesses strong analytical skills for solving simple to complex problems
- Self-motivated professional with strong time management skills
- Demonstrated success in providing customer support
- 2+ years working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google, et al.) -or- 2+ years performing financial analysis or asset management
