Fund Accountant
U.S. Bank is on a journey to help customers and businesses make better financial decisions. They are seeking a Fund Accountant to support their Fund Accounting team by maintaining the general ledger and records of various funds, preparing daily accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily general ledger accounting
- Perform prime broker/bank cash reconciliations
- Conduct advisor/portfolio management processing
- Apply corporate action applications
- Post expense accruals/payments
- Determine daily net asset value and mill rate
- Conduct portfolio pricing analysis/validations
- Distribute timely internal/external information
- Perform portfolio reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal/external administrators, transfer agencies, and prime brokers/custodians on compliance, audit, and financials
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities
- Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
