Collections and Customer Care Specialist
Hibu is a company focused on improving communities across the country, and they are seeking a Collections and Customer Care Specialist. In this role, you will assist business clients with account billing, resolve invoicing questions, and maintain precise records while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound requests and make outbound calls via a dialer to existing business clients regarding their digital marketing accounts
- Review billing statements with both internal and external clients to resolve discrepancies and clarify invoice details
- Maintain extreme precision: Carefully review accounts, input data flawlessly in excel, and double-check payment entries to ensure 100% accuracy
- Process standard payments, update credit cards on file, and set up routine payment arrangements
- Maintain accurate, professional notes in our customer database
- Compose professional email communications to internal teams and external clients, ensuring clarity, tone, and attention to detail
Skills
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- 1-2 Years of customer service experience (Retail cashiers, restaurant servers, hotel front desk staff, and call center agents are highly encouraged to apply!)
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Word and Excel and the ability to type while talking and navigate multiple browser tabs
- Keen Attention to Detail
- Professional Written and Verbal Communication
- Mindset: A calm, patient, and professional approach to helping customers solve problems
- Reliability: Excellent attendance, punctuality, and a desire for a consistent Monday–Friday routine
