As a Senior Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) on arenaflex’s Energy team, you will be the trusted advisor for some of the world’s largest energy enterprises. You will partner directly with C‑level executives and technical leaders to craft and execute cloud‑first strategies that unlock long‑term value, drive sustainable innovation, and position your customers as industry pioneers.

Key Responsibilities

Customer‑Facing Responsibilities

  • Strategic Cloud Adoption Planning: Collaborate with the customer’s leadership and arenaflex’s Account, Service, Professional Services, and Partner teams to design a detailed, executable cloud adoption roadmap that aligns with the customer’s business vision.
  • End‑to‑End Program Ownership: Drive the full lifecycle of large‑scale transformation initiatives—from initial discovery through migration, optimization, and ongoing innovation—ensuring milestones are met and blockers are removed.
  • Executive Advocacy & Coaching: Serve as the customer’s cloud journey coach, translating technical possibilities into business outcomes, and act as the voice of the customer within arenaflex to influence product and engineering priorities.
  • Enablement & Governance: Define training strategies, upskill both technical and non‑technical roles, and implement governance structures that sustain cloud adoption and operational excellence.
  • Opportunity Identification: Work with the Account team to uncover strategic opportunities such as large‑scale migrations, data & analytics, high‑performance computing, and digital innovation, supporting each with TCO analyses and business case development.
  • Training Delivery at Scale: Partner with arenaflex Training and Professional Services to establish “train‑the‑trainer” programs, delivering consistent, high‑impact learning across the customer organization.

Internal‑Facing Responsibilities

  • CSM Function Development: Create and refine scalable methodologies, tools, and best‑practice repositories that empower the broader CSM community and enhance arenaflex’s ability to deliver consistent value.
  • Cross‑Team Coordination: Act as the connective tissue between Global Account Managers, Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, and Professional Services, aligning activities to meet the customer’s cloud vision.
  • Product Influence: Collaborate with arenaflex product and engineering teams, feeding customer insights into feature‑request processes and roadmap planning.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to validate strategies, track program performance, and report on outcomes that demonstrate measurable progress toward the customer’s objectives.

Essential Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience delivering complex, multi‑year cloud transformation programs for large enterprises, preferably within the Energy sector.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives (C‑suite) and navigate multi‑layered stakeholder environments.
  • Strong technical foundation in cloud architectures, migration strategies, data analytics, and high‑performance computing.
  • Demonstrated success in program management, including budgeting, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and governance.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with a talent for translating technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Data‑driven mindset: comfortable using metrics, dashboards, and ROI analyses to drive decisions.
  • Track record of collaborating across geographically dispersed, cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or broader Energy industry, with an understanding of regulatory, safety, and operational constraints.
  • Certifications such as Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Background in consulting, professional services, or enterprise technology sales.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies like AI/ML, IoT, and edge computing as they apply to Energy workflows.
