Follow up with insurance companies to obtain prior authorization for necessary tests. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance verification and authorization processes. Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure a smooth and timely authorization process. Collaborate with the billing department to ensure proper coding and billing for authorized tests. Stay updated on insurance policies and changes in prior authorization requirements. Provide support and guidance to patients and healthcare providers regarding insurance coverage and authorization processes. Assist in resolving any insurance coverage or authorization issues that may arise. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to communicate insurance coverage and authorization processes to potential clients. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive patient information. Continuously seek to improve and streamline insurance verification and authorization processes. Keep detailed and organized records of all interactions with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers in all interactions. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
