SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has an immediate Part-time (0.56 FTE) opening for a remote, asynchronous High School Social Studies Teacher to teach in our reputed company Online program. Description: High School Social Studies Teacher, 0.56 FTE or two .28 FTEs for the remaining of the 2024-2025 school year. Job Summary: Provide support by working directly with reputed company in their asynchronous classes. Support provided will include working with reputed company 1:1 to answer questions and provide alternative assignments reputed company needed, grading and assessing student work, and maintaining high levels of communication with reputed company and guardians. Class curriculum has been developed and will be provided. This position is a fully remote teaching position. Qualifications: • Minnesota Teaching License for High School Level Social Studies • Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction. • Strong classroom management skills. • Ability to build successful relationships with reputed company, parents and staff. • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.
