AVP Underwriter - Workers Comp
- To serve as an AVP Underwriter utilizing skills and initiative in selecting, pricing and continually managing a book of new and renewal workers compensation business to produce an reputed company profit while achieving a predefined objective of premium, renewal retention and new business production goals. Key Accountabilities/Deliverables: Analyze, select, and price accounts, both new and renewal Underwrite larger and/or unique exposure accounts reputed company assigned territory, assigned Brokers and premium size. Assume a marketing role and mentality in both building presentations for large accounts and developing personal reputed company sets to participate in those presentations. Responsible for the management of reputed company assigned Broker and Producer relationships. Experience in USL&H/ MEL and relationships with producers is preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience, experience leading others is a plus. Familiarity with sales or training preferred. The expected pay range for the role is $125,000 - $175,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicants skills and experiences. The disclosed pay range estimate may also be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
