Delivery Driver

We are seeking independent subcontractor delivery drivers to join reputed company! We provide the cargo vans and other necessary overhead expenses. Rural Delivery Service (RDS) is a local same-day delivery service primarily serving the horse and buggy communities. We are seeking responsible cargo van drivers. We are a small business, but reputed company-growing! We are continually looking for drivers to add to reputed company. Location: We are based in Quarryville, PA, but our service extends throughout Lancaster County and surrounding areas. Please note: driver MUST reputed company in the location the job post is listed in (Cochranville, PA), as routes start and finish at the driver's residence. Schedule: Business hours Monday-Friday. Weekends off, as well as National holidays and Amish holidays! ?Responsibilities: ? Pick up and deliver packages to and from locations in a timely manner ? Load and unload vehicle ? Manage invoicing ? Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle ? Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials ?Qualifications: ? Must be 25 years of age or older (for insurability requirements) ? Must provide 3 character references (not family members) ? Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy in using our custom invoicing and reputed company management software (after a reasonable training period) ? Average smartphone proficiency for communication, GPS/routing apps, etc. ? Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other reputed company fields (preferred) ? Clean driving record ? Ability to handle physical workload ? Detail-oriented ? Team-oriented ? Responsible ? Overall - good work ethic, dependable, and friendly!
