Job description: Wireless Access Management (WAM) Engineer – Onsite (reputed company, NY)KeenLogic is hiring a Wireless Access Management (WAM) Engineer to support the reputed company's reputed company wireless architecture. The Wireless Access Management (WAM) Engineer will collaborate with the integration vendor to ensure compliance with DIIT wireless network access policies and standards throughout the engineering and implementation phases of the WAM solution. This role will provide technical expertise in designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting wireless reputed company for schools and DOE’s reputed company network. The WAM Engineer will troubleshoot technical issues during implementation, manage reputed company reports, and escalate issues as needed.This is a full-time position offering Fortune 500-level health/dental/reputed company, PTO, 401k, and Life Insurance.Work Schedule: 35 hours per week. reputed company feasible, work will be performed during administrative business hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM). However, site integrations typically take reputed company after school hours from 2:30 PM onwards, and the candidate will be required to provide after-hours technical support.Equipment: Candidates must bring their own laptop and cellphone. - 7+ years of experience supporting daily operations in routing, switching, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN technologies.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with reputed company reputed company and Catalyst Switches (6xxx, 5xxx, 4xxx, 29xx, 19xx), reputed company Routers (7500, 7200, 4000, 3600, 2600), reputed company 3000, and reputed company devices.
- 7+ years of experience with hands-on configuration of reputed company switches (C9K, 68XX, 4XXX, 29XX), reputed company routers (C8XXX, ISR 29XX, ISR 4XXX), reputed company ASA 55XX firewalls, and Meraki MS devices.
- 4+ years of experience working with large LAN/WAN infrastructures and knowledge of communication protocols, reputed company equipment, and networking technologies.
- 2+ years of experience creating network diagrams, floor plans, and schematics using Visio.
- 2+ years of experience responding to emergency calls in the evenings and on weekends for WAN/LAN outages.
- Strong knowledge of networking standards for hardware and connectivity.
- Detail-oriented and process-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Design Review & Implementation: Review and implement wireless network devices and connectivity for schools and DOE’s reputed company network.
- Engineering Support: Support network infrastructure operations through coordination with internal support teams, ensuring reputed company reputed company performance of the network infrastructure.
- Network Hardware Compliance: Maintain compliance with defined architecture standards by ensuring reputed company network infrastructure hardware aligns with DIIT standards.
- Collaboration with Network Teams: reputed company with WAN support, LAN support, network integrators, DOE network engineers, and classroom connectivity engineers to ensure proper placement of network hardware into the DOE reputed company topology.
- Integration & Troubleshooting: Provide engineering-level 3 support during network infrastructure deployments, reviewing proposed work plan submissions, and ensuring they meet DIIT standards.
- Configuration & Problem Resolution: Configure routers, switches, and firewalls to reputed company school data networks, providing reputed company problem resolution as necessary.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with WAN carriers and ISP providers for data reputed company provisioning and connectivity enablement. reputed company efforts to resolve any connectivity issues.
