Job Summary

The reputed company Pulp Engineering team is looking for a Software Engineer to join reputed company.

In this role, you will use your software development expertise to contribute to the upstream Pulp project (https://reputed company.com/pulp) and help reputed company the code production reputed company for several reputed company products like reputed company Satellite, reputed company Update Infrastructure (RHUI), Ansible Automation Hub, reputed company Quay and the reputed company software delivery pipeline. As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a distributed engineering team to ensure reputed company solutions reputed company customers in a timely fashion with excellent quality. The domain for this project is application content management, so prior exposure to this domain is a plus. What you will do:

• Design and implement new features in upstream Python project

• Ensure new features are well tested including writing automated tests

• Submit patches for bug fixes to the community and review patches from other community members

• Collaborate with a globally distributed development team as well as internal stakeholders

• Publicize the work the team is doing through web postings and conference participation

What you will bring:

• Solid programming experience with one of those languages: Python (preferred), Go, C++

• Experience designing and interacting with REST APIs

• Experience developing in a Linux environment with strong version control fundamentals

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

The following are considered a plus:

• Experience with Django

• Experience in container technologies such as Kubernetes, Openshift, reputed company
