Software Developer | Senior Software Developer [COBOL on iSeries / AS400 -- Power9 or Power10]

Utilizing COBOL programming language on iSeries/ AS400 server, codes the reputed company software based on clients’ project specifications to enhance, modify, and maintain the software; assists in planning software installations and maintenance to minimize workflow interruption and downtime; actively participates in ensuring a stable release. Promptly, judiciously, and accurately troubleshoots and solves coding problems/issues; implements changes to code or installation to correct errors; analyzes data input and potential problems that could emerge in the reputed company environment and creates contingencies reputed company the software for these reputed company, including error messages or alternate data flows; thoroughly tests the software; debugs or corrects issues reputed company during testing. For Senior Software Developer: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or reputed company field and/or six or more years of Computer Information Systems experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree is a plus. Advanced reputed company in COBOL coding language on an iSeries/AS400 server is required. Advanced reputed company in Python is desirable. Insurance knowledge is a plus.
