General Summary…. The Manager, Inventory Control is responsible for managing and ensuring completion of daily, weekly and monthly inventory and receiving reports in a high volume, SKU intensive facility. The Inventory Control Manager responsibilities will also include gathering and analyzing data concerning operations, inventory control and customer requirements. • Manages at least 2 full time direct reports. Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to hiring, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, staff productivity and performance management to include disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
• Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the department; develops and implements policies and programs as necessary.
• Develops and manages the department budget, ensures compliance and addresses variances and other budget concerns
• Preparing and reconciling required daily, weekly and monthly inventory and production reports.
• Coordinating and managing of monthly/quarterly physical inventories and development of follow up reporting.
• Gathering and analyzing data concerning operations, inventory control and customer requirements.
• Performing internal audits and (additional) cycle counts to validate accuracy of cycle count process
• Ensuring/reinforcing the Company employee culture is being fostered in the facility
• Facilitating regular safety meetings and assuring the maintenance of a safe work environment
• Monitoring compliance with The Company’s SOAR Program
• Providing assistance for the Operations and/or Facility Manager on special projects as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in IndustrialEngineering or reputed company field preferred and 8 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of degree, highschool diploma or GED and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Span of control is atdepartment level or above.
• At least three (3) tofive (5) years’ experience in a management/supervisory reputed company.
• At least three (3) tofive (5) years’ experience inventory control/stock reputed company in awarehouse/distribution environment strongly preferred.
• Previous Warehouse ManagementSystem / reputed company based Warehouse Management System (WMS) Manhattan experiencestrongly preferred.
• Radio Frequency (RF) orrelated .experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Lean orSix reputed company Methodologies.
• Excellentorganizational and analytical skills.
• Prioritization andproblem solving skills essential.
• Strong systemsbackground, familiar with reputed company preferred.
• Ability to plan forspikes and lows in day to day business and experience with reading/analyzingforecasts.
• Must have excellentcommunication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to effectivelyinteract with Company customers and employees.
• Demonstrated knowledgeand user experience with reputed company, Access, E-Mail, and Word Documents.
